Strava includes both a free version and a subscription version with premium features.
Strava uses HealthKit to export your Strava activities into the Health app and to read heart rate and biometric data.
You can subscribe and pay on the App Store, using your Apple ID. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renew may be turned off after purchase by going to the ‘Manage Subscription’ page in settings. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable. The subscription will renew at the same cost.

For bikers and triathletes, a good app to maintain workout history and share with friends.
Great UX, defo recommended, both for recording activities as well as as central hub for different devices (TomTom, Garmin etc.).
Great tool to view my activities and activities of my friends. Also very good to get an overview of set goals
I really like this app. Encouraged me to go out there and be more active. And I like the way you can compare your time to other users. Dont want to miss it!
Great app! Its user friendly. Easy and fun to use. Keeps great records of your performance and your friends for you to see. Especially like all the goal challenges offered. Highly recommend this app.
Some bad moments
Extremely slow, even in fast wifi often takes 20-30 seconds to open, scrolling the activity feed will regularly freeze for 5-10 seconds. Using to record activities is not reliable, often loses up to half of your distance despite showing correct start/end points and overall route. Reporting the defect went nowhere. I love what Strava is, use it everday but the iOS app sucks.
Tried to start a workout on the app 4x, in different days and the app just hangs and never load on the watch. Or if it does, the start button doesnt work.
The watch application is terrible maintenaned. Dont even know how Apple approved this app.
Im using an iPhone 7 and Watch Series 2.
Running 10.1.1 on an iPhone 6s. Since the last update from Strava (introducing the beacon feature), the GPS is extremely erratic and unreliable. I have deleted the app, rebooted my phone, and reinstalled the app, but to no avail.
I am a premium subscriber and as such, Strava is a part of my life. Its hard to give a poor rating, but my expectations are reasonable and it is disappointing when updates cause new issues. Ill keep my fingers crossed that this issue will be resolved in the next update. Until then, Ill be forced to use my trusty old Garmin watch.
After iOS 10, there is a problem for gps or auto pause. Always missing 5 to 10km in cycling. Pls. Fix it
Always shows me "background services are disabled". Whats up?
